someone i know , just dislikes me i think , she presses me hard , for "just one more drink " she makes me stay , when i've got to go . she knows so well , that i can't say no . she ruffles my hair,and batters my face . puts all my papers and books out of place .my body is sore , when she's finished her game ; my house upside down , is never the same . she tempts me too eat the worst kinds of foods ,encourages me loudly to be very rude. When the flak starts to fly , she always the first one to vilify .i'm just not sure , all these years , with hardly a break , i must make a stand , and drive HER from sight but the trouble you see... its ME i've to fight ! adapted from ALTER EGO by Ray Mather . this poem is really about llike erh , how do you put this , SOMEONE . and i don't wish to say who . but if you read this poem , you might just know it too ! .
